Spanish AI accounting platform Kabilio has raised €10 million. The company builds software that automates bookkeeping and reconciliation for accounting firms. Picus Capital and Visionaries led the round, with CDTI also participating.
Funding history
The company has now raised €14 million since launch. It closed a €4 million Pre-Seed round about a year ago. Picus Capital and Visionaries also led that earlier round.
Company growth
Kabilio was founded by Jose Ojeda and Álex Valls. The startup works with nearly 500 accounting firms, up from about 100 a year ago. Its team has grown to 80 employees, with more than half in product and engineering.
AI agent and client tools
Kabilio is rolling out an AI accounting agent in beta across several firms. The agent can gather invoices, reconcile accounts, and request missing documents through email or WhatsApp. Kabilio Empresas lets small companies invoice, connect bank accounts, and monitor cash flow.
Kabilio plans to extend the AI agent to small business clients in a later phase. It would send invoices, follow up on late payments, and answer routine tax questions. The new funding will also support further automation and expansion of the shared platform.
