Moonshot AI, the developer of Kimi, launched Kimi Hosted Agents on November 5. The service provides the Harness runtime as a cloud product for companies and developers. Users pay CN¥0.072 per hour for sandbox runtime, plus model and plugin fees.

What the service offers

Customers can run agents in a 24/7 hosted environment without maintaining their own framework. The system supports long-running tasks and collaboration between multiple agents. Companies can deploy internal monitoring tools or embed assistants into customer-facing apps.

Safety and control

Kimi offers isolated sandboxes and network access controls. Companies can set boundaries and stop sessions at any time. The Kimi Inference Hook can block sensitive data before model inference.

Tools and pricing

Users can access 140+ skills and 30+ plugins for search, data, documents, and content tasks. The first eight financial agent templates cover research, reports, IPO tracking, and holdings monitoring. Total pricing includes sandbox time, model inference, and plugin calls.

Developers can copy agent templates into their own project spaces and connect private data sources. Kimi's open platform documentation provides setup guides, architecture advice, and cost estimates. The launch follows the October 24 release of Kimi K3.1 Pro.
