Cohere announced a partnership with Singapore's Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies. The company provides sovereign AI for governments and regulated industries. CSIT will use Cohere's enterprise AI models and North platform in highly secure environments.

Partnership scope

CSIT and Cohere completed a pilot that showed secure on-premises deployment. The partnership will now explore secure knowledge retrieval, automated analysis, and report generation. It will also test agentic workflows for national security operations.

Company context

Cohere was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Toronto. It operates in Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, and other global cities. The company provides an all-in-one platform for secure AI deployments.

Platform capabilities

CSIT will receive deployment flexibility for fully on-premises and secured environments. It will also get centralized AI governance for agents, workflows, policies, and compliance. Model interoperability will support flexibility and control across AI deployments.

Cohere plans to quadruple its regional presence by the end of 2027 through new investments, local partnerships, and additional offices across APAC. The company has already expanded its APAC customer base fivefold over the past year. CSIT and Cohere will continue shaping the platform for secure AI use.
