Freshworks has acquired Robusta Dev Ltd., an AI-powered incident intelligence platform. Robusta investigates technology disruptions, identifies root causes, and recommends remediation actions. The deal strengthens Freshservice's incident management and IT operations capabilities.
How Robusta works
Robusta operates like an always-on AI site reliability engineer. It monitors environments continuously and flags emerging problems before they escalate. It then reviews monitoring data, infrastructure telemetry, and recent code or configuration changes.
Enterprise scale
Robusta is optimized for very large production environments. Its customers often lose revenue when even short reliability issues occur. Natan Yellin, Robusta's co-founder and CEO, and Arik Alon will join Freshworks.
What customers gain
Robusta will feed AI-generated root-cause analyses into Freshservice and FireHydrant. Teams can consolidate hundreds of alerts from a failing service into one investigated incident. They can also turn recognized incident patterns into automated pre-flight checks that protect stability.
Freshworks plans to integrate Robusta's capabilities into Freshservice workflows. It will also deepen interoperability with incident response platforms like FireHydrant. The Robusta team joins Freshworks as part of the acquisition.
