CrowdStrike has agreed to acquire Fiddler AI. Fiddler provides AI agent observability and explainability software. The deal is expected to close in CrowdStrike's fourth quarter of fiscal 2027.
Transaction terms
The purchase price is contemplated to be paid predominantly in cash. A portion will be delivered as stock subject to vesting conditions. The proposed acquisition remains subject to customary closing conditions.
What Fiddler adds
Fiddler will extend the Falcon platform across the AI agent lifecycle. It will evaluate agents before deployment and trace their actions in production. The tools also track behavioral drift, hallucinations, and unintended actions.
Falcon platform integration
CrowdStrike will sell the technology as Falcon Observe. The company also announced Falcon Guardian innovations for securing AI agents from attack and misuse. Together, Fiddler validates agent behavior and Guardian protects agents from threats.
General availability for Falcon Observe is planned for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2027. The product will instrument agents through OpenTelemetry. It will support frameworks such as LangGraph, Amazon Bedrock, AWS Strands, and Google ADK.
