Corridian has raised a US$38 million Seed round led by Point72 Ventures. The New England defense technology company builds ultra-large autonomous underwater vehicles. Its systems are designed for stealth undersea logistics.
Funding details
The round included Balerion Space Ventures, Harpoon Ventures, DCVC, Marlinspike, and additional defense and deep-tech investors. It will support continued development of Corridian's flagship AUV platform. The funds will also support work at its research and development facility.
Company background
Corridian was founded in September 2025 by Mike Guay, Greg Barrow, Kyle Arace, and Mark Bodnar. The founders previously led a large undersea autonomy portfolio at General Dynamics. Their prior programs entered service with the U.S. Navy and the Royal Australian Navy.
What the vehicles do
The AUVs are designed to carry ISO-standard containerized payloads across thousands of nautical miles. They operate without a crew and use a supply chain independent of the Submarine Industrial Base. Initial capabilities include payload delivery, intelligence gathering, and contested logistics.
Corridian plans to unveil its flagship vehicle in 2027. It is actively hiring for its undersea engineering team. The company named retired Adm. Lisa Franchetti as a senior military advisor.
