Guava raised US$12.5 million in Seed funding led by Acrew Capital. The Los Angeles company builds a developer platform for voice AI agents. Participants included Flourish Ventures, WillowTree Ventures, Clocktower Ventures, and Commerce Ventures.

Funding plans

The fresh capital will support model and product development. It will also help Guava launch its go-to-market team. The team will serve enterprises and business process outsourcers.

Company background

Guava was co-founded by Omri Dahan, Anthony Scodary, Nico Benitez, and Mike Piechna. Dahan previously served as chief revenue officer at Marqeta. The company draws on voice AI research from Gridspace built over a decade.

Platform details

Guava runs its own speech recognition, language models, and speech synthesis as one stack. Developers can integrate voice through its SDK using Python, TypeScript, or Claude Code. Its first public model, Daytona, launched in September and supports over a dozen enterprise customers.

Guava says the new funding will support edge device and on-prem installations. It also plans to advance full-duplex interaction. Developers can sign up for a free version and build a working agent in under five minutes.
