Zero Zero Robotics, the Chinese maker of HOVERAir flying cameras, has reportedly reached a US$1 billion valuation. The company disclosed Series D and D-plus financing this year. Its backers include Boyu Capital, Xiang He Capital, Delian Capital, and an Ant Group affiliate.
Funding so far
Leiphone reported the valuation on October 28. People close to the company estimated fourth-quarter revenue at CN¥600 million to CN¥700 million. Earlier disclosures put 2025 revenue above CN¥1 billion.
Company background
Zero Zero Robotics was founded in 2014 by two Stanford PhD graduates. It develops portable flying cameras that can take off from a user's palm and follow subjects. Its HOVERAir lineup targets consumers who want aerial footage without manually piloting a drone.
Product history
The company introduced the Hover Camera Passport in 2016, followed by the V-Coptr Falcon in 2019. In 2022, it launched the HOVERAir brand with the HOVERAir X1. The X1 weighs 125 grams, folds for portability, and starts recording from a user's palm.
People close to the company said new financing talks now require partner-level investors. The reported valuation places Zero Zero Robotics among Chinese unicorns. The company did not disclose the size of its Series D and D-plus rounds.
