Wayflyer, a global working capital provider for small businesses, has secured a $50 million corporate debt facility from Trinity Capital Inc. The announcement was made on September 17, 2026 and marks another step in Wayflyer's effort to broaden access to growth capital. The new facility is intended to support rising demand while enabling investment in emerging areas including artificial intelligence.

Funding Capacity and Strategic Priorities

Under the agreement, Trinity Capital will provide the debt facility as part of its expanding European lending programme. Wayflyer plans to use the funds to increase the pool of growth capital available to its small business customers. The company also intends to invest in newer growth areas, including the artificial intelligence capability known as Intelligence that it acquired earlier in the year.

Recent Capital Markets Momentum

The new facility follows a series of significant capital markets moves by Wayflyer. In July, the company announced a $1.5 billion forward flow arrangement with Fortress Investment Group, extending its total funding capacity to deploy up to $4.5 billion over 24 months. In February, it disclosed a $250 million credit facility with ATLAS SP Partners, and since its 2020 launch Wayflyer has deployed more than $6 billion in working capital worldwide.

Leadership Perspectives

Aidan Corbett, chief executive officer and co-founder of Wayflyer, said the capital stack enables the company to meet growing market demand. He thanked Trinity for moving quickly and for understanding what Wayflyer is building. Corbett added that the facility provides room to fuel the next phase of growth and invest company capital in emerging areas.

Trinity Capital's European Expansion

For Trinity Capital, the transaction extends a European lending program run from its London office. Craig Fox, managing director of originations for tech lending, said Wayflyer is reshaping how small businesses access growth capital by using performance data to fund founders faster than traditional models. Steven Lambe, managing director of asset based lending, added that Wayflyer represents the kind of scaled operation that serves businesses traditional providers often overlook.

Institutional Footprints

As of June 30, 2026, Trinity Capital has deployed more than $6.2 billion across over 490 investments since its founding in 2008. The firm operates as an international alternative asset manager focused on private credit across five lending verticals. Wayflyer has deployed over $7 billion in working capital to thousands of brands worldwide since launching in 2020, combining funding with data driven insights and artificial intelligence powered business intelligence.

This new corporate debt facility reinforces Wayflyer's ability to support small businesses with flexible and non-dilutive funding. It also highlights Trinity Capital's growing presence in European markets and its focus on innovative lending opportunities. By pairing expanded capital access with investments in artificial intelligence, Wayflyer aims to strengthen its position as a leading provider of fast and data-informed working capital for founders globally.
