Berlin-based CO3 Technologies has acquired 100% of Kinver, an Oslo-based freight cost and emissions intelligence company. CO3 provides operational data for road freight and construction businesses. The combined platform covers more than 350,000 connected assets and over 600 third-party integrations across 35 countries.

Acquisition and leadership changes

The completed acquisition brings Kinver's software products and team into CO3. Kinver founder and CEO Lars Fredrik Eriksen joins CO3 as VP Commercial. The transaction marks CO3's first acquisition since its 2025 spin-out from European digital freight forwarder sennder.

Company background

CO3 was founded within sennder in 2019 and now operates independently from Berlin. Its platform processes more than 215 million data points daily from connected vehicles and equipment. Kinver was founded in 2020 and serves over 60 enterprise accounts through 57 transport management and enterprise software integrations.

Connecting freight costs and operations

Kinver Engine checks freight invoices against contracted rates and service levels. Its TerraTwin product calculates shipment-level transport emissions using ISO and Smart Freight Centre-accredited methods. CO3 adds live vehicle locations, estimated arrival times, temperature readings, and delivery records to this financial information.

The combined platform allows customers to compare freight charges with actual shipment activity. It can also match service agreements, invoices, and surcharge claims against operational records. CO3 plans to use this data to support AI agents that handle invoice disputes, recover costs, and automate operational decisions.
