Finnish startup Vensum Power raised €9 million in a Series A funding round. Lifeline Ventures, Larsen & Toubro, and Eviny Ventures co-led the round. The company builds software-controlled power converters that reduce electricity losses.

Funding so far

The Series A brings total funding to €15.2 million. Vensum Power previously closed a €3.8 million Seed round in May 2023. Existing investors include Grid.vc and Harjavalta Ventures.

Company context

Vensum Power was founded in Finland in 2018 and is based in Helsinki. The team has 20 employees and is hiring. Its customers are converter OEMs outside Finland.

How it works

The company uses software to control power conversion. This keeps converters efficient when electrical loads change quickly. The technology is designed for EV charging, energy storage, and AI data centers.

Vensum Power plans to move into mass production by 2027. It will first serve EV charging, energy storage, and DC microgrids. AI data centers are the next area of focus.
