Trained Therapeutix Discovery has appointed Andrew Glass as chief executive officer. The immunotherapy company develops nanomedicines that regulate innate immunity. He takes the role immediately as the company moves into clinical-stage work.
CEO track record
Glass has more than 20 years of life sciences leadership experience. He recently served as chief executive of Vivasure Medical. That company was sold to Haemonetics Corporation for $215 million in January 2026.
RIDE platform
The company's RIDE platform targets myeloid progenitor cells. These cells help shape how the innate immune system behaves. The approach aims to reprogram immunity at its origin for more precise and durable control.
Lead program
RIDE-002 is being developed for inflammatory diseases. These include hidradenitis suppurativa and inflammatory bowel disease. The company also plans to nominate a clinical candidate for RIDE-002.
Glass will focus on development strategy, financing, and organizational growth. He will manage stakeholder relationships to support future options. The company's lead oncology program is RIDE-001.
