Tencent Cloud announced plans to release its Hunyuan Hy4 and Hunyuan Hy4 Flash models at its 2026 global digital ecosystem summit. The company also expanded WorkBuddy, its AI office agent, for global enterprise users. Overseas active customers doubled over the past year, while AI product and service demand grew by triple digits.
Model releases
The Hunyuan Hy4 official version will target long-horizon tasks and real productivity workloads. It adds stronger chain-of-thought efficiency and first-time visual understanding. Hunyuan Hy4 Flash will inherit the same visual and agent capabilities.
Global reach
Tencent Cloud now serves customers in more than 150 countries and regions. The company said about 90% of Chinese internet companies expanding overseas use its services. New partnerships include Alsaif Gallery, Hoolive, OmniOps, and TruKKer in the Middle East.
WorkBuddy growth
WorkBuddy connects widely used communications apps with enterprise systems. Teams can complete tasks inside tools they already use. Since March it has handled over 9 billion task requests and attracted more than 50,000 partners and developers.
Tencent Cloud added infrastructure capacity in Frankfurt, Osaka, Riyadh, Malaysia, Mexico, and Thailand in 2026. Its global footprint now includes 25 cloud regions and 70 availability zones. The company plans further expansion in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.
