Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Aramco closed a transaction giving Aramco a 49% stake in HUMAIN. PIF keeps a 51% stake in the AI company. Aramco will transfer AI assets and contribute about SAR 9.9 billion, or $2.6 billion, in cash in 2026.

Deal structure

Aramco holds its stake through a wholly owned subsidiary. The transaction also includes AI, compute, and digital assets. PIF said the partnership supports its 2026-2030 strategy.

Company context

HUMAIN launched in May 2025. The company builds full-stack AI capabilities across four core areas. These include next-generation data centers, hyper-performance infrastructure, advanced AI models, and AI solutions.

Planned capacity

HUMAIN plans to deploy 3 gigawatts of AI data center capacity by 2030. The company is scaling to meet regional and global demand for AI compute. It aims to become a leading exporter of AI globally.

PIF and Aramco will oversee HUMAIN's expansion plans. Aramco expects to use HUMAIN's AI infrastructure for industrial applications. The partners said the deal can support faster and more scalable AI deployment.
