Perry Weather, a Dallas based weather safety and operations platform, has announced a $110 million growth investment led by Silversmith Capital Partners with participation from Arthur Ventures. The funding will accelerate development of artificial intelligence capabilities and support hiring of more than 50 new positions at the company's Dallas headquarters through 2027. Perry Weather serves more than 3,000 organizations that need to protect people and operations from severe weather and extreme heat.
Growth Investment and Hiring Plans
The investment round was led by Silversmith Capital Partners, a Boston based growth equity firm managing more than $5 billion in capital. Arthur Ventures, which led Perry Weather's Series A and Series B rounds, also joined the financing. Silversmith Managing Partner Sri Rao will join the company's board of directors as part of the investment.
From On-Site Data to Automatic Action
Perry Weather addresses a common gap between written weather policies and consistent enforcement by placing monitoring stations where people actually work, practice, and play. Automated sirens and phone notifications enforce each organization's policy by directing people to modify or stop activity and later providing the all clear when conditions improve. Every alert, response, and resumption is logged automatically to create a defensible compliance record as weather rules become more stringent.
Regulatory Pressure and Workplace Heat Standards
Weather safety is shifting from a best practice to a codified requirement across many jurisdictions. More than 20 state high school athletic associations now mandate wet bulb globe temperature monitoring, including Texas where the University Interscholastic League requirement took effect in August. Seven states enforce workplace heat standards, additional states are in rulemaking, and OSHA has proposed the first federal heat injury and illness prevention standard.
Market Traction Across Critical Industries
Perry Weather works with 24 of the top 25 general contractors on ENR's Top 400 list and is expanding across manufacturing and energy, where weather drives both operational disruption and safety risk. The platform is designed to standardize responses to weather rather than replace the judgment of safety leaders. It automates monitoring and notification tasks, freeing safety teams to run their programs instead of watching radar.
AI Roadmap and Proprietary Data
Part of the new capital will fund Perry Weather's artificial intelligence roadmap, which draws on thousands of on-site weather stations connected in one dataset. The company plans to use that ground truth data to enrich regional and national forecast models, sharpen hyperlocal forecasts, and improve always-on operational software. AI will also help anticipate needs, including curation of weather disruption insights and stronger fleet connectivity for critical hardware systems.
Dallas Expansion and Company Momentum
Perry Weather has nearly doubled its revenue every year for six years and expects to accelerate hiring across software and hardware engineering, product, support, and services. The company was recently named one of the Dallas Business Journal's 2026 Best Places to Work and holds a 4.8 rating on Glassdoor. Its offices are located in The Centrum in Uptown Dallas, and open roles are listed at perryweather.com/jobs.
The $110 million investment positions Perry Weather to expand its product suite and workforce at a time when weather safety requirements are increasing. With support from Silversmith and Arthur Ventures, the company aims to strengthen its role as a modern standard for weather safety across schools, job sites, stadiums, and industrial operations. Continued growth in Dallas and ongoing artificial intelligence development will support organizations that must make faster and more consistent weather related decisions.
