Rentify has launched Ally, an AI maintenance agent for rental property operations in the UAE. The tool is the fourth agent in the company's Earn AI platform. It connects tenants, property managers, landlords, and contractors to coordinate repairs and manage costs.
Handling repair requests
Tenants can report maintenance issues through WhatsApp using text, photos, or videos. Ally classifies each request, checks the maintenance contract, and estimates repair costs. It then applies approval rules, dispatches contractors, and matches invoices against approved estimates.
Rentify's existing operations
Rentify says customer portfolios connected to Earn AI represent more than 180,000 rental units and US$3.4 billion in annual rent roll. The platform already supports rent collections and lease renewals. The company is led by co-founder and CEO Rashed Hareb Al Mheiri, alongside co-founder Rajneel Kumar.
Keeping property managers in control
Property managers set spending limits, approval requirements, and escalation procedures. Decisions involving higher expenses, safety concerns, or human judgment remain with staff. Ally also records actions and timestamps, while emergency requests are directed to on-call contractors.
Landlords receive approval requests with photos, quotes, and their share of repair costs. Completed jobs add maintenance expenses to each property's operating history, helping owners track costs alongside rental income. Ally is designed to work with existing property management systems and spreadsheets, with deployment requirements depending on each customer's data and workflows.
