LOOP Digital Financial Services, a subsidiary of NCBA Group, launched LOOP BIZ+ on October 29, 2026. The platform combines payments, inventory management, customer discovery, and business lending for Kenyan small and medium-sized enterprises. Merchants can access it through a point-of-sale device, a mobile app, or a web portal.

Payments and credit scoring

The platform accepts Visa and other card payments, NFC contactless transactions, mobile money, and LOOP payments. Merchants pay KES 1,500 per month for the service. Transaction histories inform credit assessments for eligible borrowers.

Digital lending scale

NCBA disbursed more than KES 1 trillion in digital loans in 2024. Most of that activity came through Fuliza and M-Shwari. LOOP reported its own disbursements doubled to KES 2.5 billion that year.

Inventory and customer tools

The AI inventory feature monitors stock, forecasts demand, and flags slow-moving products. It is currently available only on the web platform, with app access planned for 2027. Merchants can also list products on LOOP Discover, which serves more than 500,000 consumers.

Financing options include quick loans, overdrafts, supplier credit lines, and longer-term lending. All credit is subject to eligibility requirements and approval through NCBA Bank. LOOP DFS has not published merchant targets or loan limits for LOOP BIZ+.
