Midstream Health raised a $20 million Series A round. The company provides an autonomous financial operations platform for health systems. Its customers represent more than $100 billion in annual operating expenses.
Funding details
Valtruis led the round. Andreessen Horowitz, Foundry, and CommonSpirit Ventures also participated. The investment brings Midstream's total funding to $29.2 million.
Customer base
Fairview Health Services and Keck Medicine of USC are among the newest health systems on the platform. They join CommonSpirit Health, Mount Sinai Health System, and Houston Methodist. The platform now spans more than 250 hospitals nationwide.
How the platform works
Midstream connects fragmented contract, claims, purchasing, pharmacy, and payment data. It uses domain-trained AI agents to reconcile that data against live transactions. The agents identify and recover margin leakage across supply chain, managed care, and pharmacy.
The company identified more than 1,500 financial recovery opportunities this year. Early partners are projecting over 5x ROI. Midstream is on pace to reach $100 million in client savings by the end of 2026.
