Bot Food Corporation has raised CAD 1.5 million in Pre-Seed funding. GreenSky Ventures provided the funding. The Toronto startup also launched a beta version of its personal context library for AI users.
Funding so far
The all-equity round closed in October and brings Bot Food's total funding to CAD 3 million. GreenSky managing partner Jeff Brunet joined the startup's board. Bot Food did not disclose its valuation.
Founding team
Ian Collins and Nitin Singhal launched Bot Food after their previous startup Wysdom was acquired by Calabrio in 2024. Collins co-founded Wysdom with Jeff Brunet in 2012. The new company has seven employees and hired Brendan Stennett as CTO.
How Bot Food works
Bot Food's assistant RaLHF signs into a user's apps and catalogs personal data into an encrypted library. Users can view, edit, and selectively share that context with AI systems. The beta includes a simple on/off switch for controlling access.
Bot Food plans to direct the new capital mainly toward go-to-market testing. The next version will add more granular permissions for specific apps. The company is also testing temporary access that ends after a task.
