Paris-based startup GetMint has closed a $4.6 million pre-seed funding round to accelerate its Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform. Led by Founders Future, with participation from 50 Partners, Kima Ventures, Clover, Better Angle, and several business angels, the funding will help brands improve how they appear inside AI-generated answers on tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overview.

The Rise of Generative Engine Optimization

As large language models reshape how people search and discover products, a new discipline is emerging: Generative Engine Optimization. Unlike traditional SEO, GEO focuses on how accurately and prominently brands are represented in conversational, AI-generated responses, as users increasingly bypass classic search engines in favor of AI assistants.

Joan Burkovic, co-founder and CEO of GetMint, says AI assistants are rapidly becoming a primary touchpoint between users and companies. GetMint’s ambition is to give brands direct control and visibility over how they are portrayed in this new environment.

A Platform for AI Visibility

GetMint offers a SaaS platform that maps brand visibility across major AI models, measuring how often a brand is cited and analyzing why it is recommended or omitted. The platform turns conversational AI into a measurable and optimizable marketing channel, providing actionable insights for marketing and growth teams.

The company reports more than 100 clients, including Belambra, Sellsy, Sopra Banking, and Big Mamma.

Strategic Funding for Future Growth

The $4.6 million pre-seed round will be used to strengthen GetMint’s product and technology teams and to accelerate its go-to-market strategy. International expansion beyond France is a key priority, alongside the development of new features to keep pace with rapidly evolving AI models.

Founded in 2025, GetMint is now transitioning from early product development into a scaling phase.

Navigating a Competitive Landscape

GetMint is entering a fast-forming market as awareness of GEO grows. Other startups, such as K-Words and BotRank AI, are also positioning themselves around AI-centric search optimization, signaling the emergence of a new competitive category.

This early funding gives GetMint a head start in what is shaping up to be a crowded space. The race to define how brands win visibility in AI-generated answers has begun, and GetMint is positioning itself as a category leader.
