Samsung has announced a major enhancement to its Health app in India through a strategic partnership with health-tech leaders PharmEasy and Tata 1mg. The collaboration will introduce an integrated feature called ‘Find Care,’ designed to provide users with direct access to a suite of healthcare services. This new functionality is scheduled to go live following an app update on February 24, 2026, marking a significant step in creating a unified digital wellness platform.

A Strategic Leap in Digital Health

The 'Find Care' service aims to streamline the user's healthcare journey by consolidating essential services within a single application. Through this integration, Samsung Health users can order medicines, book diagnostic tests, and schedule online doctor consultations directly from the app. This eliminates the inconvenience of navigating between multiple platforms, offering a more cohesive and efficient experience for managing personal health and wellness needs.

Enhancing User Experience and Accessibility

According to Kyungyun Roo, Managing Director at Samsung Research Institute, Noida, the primary goal is to make healthcare more accessible and convenient for everyone. He stated that the 'Find Care' feature has been thoughtfully designed to meet the evolving needs of their user base. This initiative reflects Samsung's commitment to continuous innovation and enhancing services to improve the overall user experience within its digital ecosystem.

To incentivize adoption, PharmEasy will offer a complimentary six-month Plus membership to all Samsung Health users upon their first transaction. Gaurav Verma, Chief Business Officer at PharmEasy, noted that this collaboration integrates everyday technology with accessible healthcare, providing significant value. The partnership empowers users with added savings, free delivery benefits, and greater control over their healthcare journey.

The Future of Integrated Wellness

Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Vice President of Medical Affairs at Tata 1mg, emphasized that this collaboration empowers users to manage their well-being beyond traditional healthcare settings. He highlighted the partnership's potential to drive innovation in the field of digital therapeutics. This move is expected to further enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of digital health solutions for a broader audience across the country.

This new feature builds upon the existing robust capabilities of the Samsung Health app, which already allows users to monitor key wellness metrics. Users can track physical activity, sleep patterns, heart rate, and even access their health records or set medication reminders. The addition of 'Find Care' transforms the application from a wellness tracker into a comprehensive, holistic digital health hub for users.

This strategic alliance between Samsung, PharmEasy, and Tata 1mg represents a pivotal development in India's burgeoning digital health landscape. By integrating transactional health services into its popular wellness app, Samsung is not just adding a feature but creating a comprehensive ecosystem. The launch of 'Find Care' underscores a growing trend towards integrated platforms that place convenience, accessibility, and user empowerment at the forefront of healthcare.
