Gaio, a social selling startup, raised R$5.5 million in a Seed round led by G4. The company helps brands and creators manage and convert Instagram interactions. Other participants included an undisclosed investment fund and angel investors.
Funding plans
The new capital will help evolve the platform into an AI-native solution. It will identify engagement opportunities and handle conversion without human effort. Gaio also plans a consulting operation for companies that use content as an acquisition channel.
Investor relationship
G4 became a Gaio client before making its investment. After adopting the platform for Instagram sales, G4 multiplied its monthly direct revenue by 10 times. The direct channel now generates R$4 million per month, according to G4.
What clients get
Gaio serves about 5,000 clients, including brands and creators. The platform ranks the most engaged followers to help teams prioritize outreach. It also provides an AI-powered inbox and automation tools to scale message-based sales.
Gaio will join G4 at the upcoming G4 Valley event in São Paulo. The startup will operate a stand at the event. Its team will teach the methodology behind its Instagram sales growth.
