Avante raised US$30 million in a Series A funding round. Frist Cressey Ventures led the investment. The company builds an enterprise AI platform for benefits teams.

Use of funds

The new funding will go to three places. Avante plans to double down on its global strategy. It will also put agents across the full benefits lifecycle and build agentic infrastructure.

Customer growth

Avante has grown to more than 70 customers in 18 months. Its customer base includes several Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies. The platform now supports more than 385,000 employees and family members.

What the platform does

Avante builds purpose-built AI agents for benefits work. They handle operational busywork, document analysis, and repetitive tasks. The agents work behind existing systems such as Slack, Teams, email, ServiceNow, and HR portals.

Last week Avante launched the beta of Ava Agents. These agents take on recurring benefits work and return finished outputs for review. The company says it is hiring as it works toward a goal of reaching more than 100 million people.
