Vera Health raised a US$28.5 million Series A round led by Threshold Ventures. The company builds a clinical AI search engine that helps clinicians assess medical evidence. It announced the funding on October 27, 2026.

Who backed the round

Mantis VC and SV Angel also participated in the financing. Existing investors Y Combinator and Gradient increased their stakes. The round brought Vera Health's total funding to US$32 million.

Adoption among clinicians

More than 800,000 clinicians across 190 countries use the platform. About 1 in 4 physicians in Spain and Italy are users. It has been the most downloaded clinical app worldwide every month since June.

How the tool works

Vera Health searches more than 60 million peer-reviewed publications, clinical guidelines, consensus statements, and drug labels. It links every claim to supporting research and color-codes the strength of the evidence. Physicians can also add local protocols through Vera Spaces.

The funding will support development of its clinical evidence infrastructure and expansion into additional healthcare markets. The company also plans deeper partnerships with medical societies, publishers, and health systems. Vera Health will remain free for licensed clinicians and medical trainees worldwide.
