Arctic RAVN has secured €2.5 million in convertible loan commitments. The Finnish company exceeded its €2 million target within five days. It builds electronic speed controllers for unmanned systems.
Funding so far
The convertible loan round launched in October. Arctic RAVN has already invested more than €1 million in scaling up ESC production. The company aims to manufacture tens of thousands of units by the end of 2026.
Company context
Arctic RAVN is based in Riihimäki and Espoo. It is one of Finnish Defence House's studio companies. Its customers include several well-known European defense industry players.
Product focus
The company produces electronic speed controllers for drones and other unmanned systems. It is also developing flight controllers, motors, and modular drone frames. Products are designed and manufactured in Finland using components sourced from Europe and NATO-allied countries.
Next, Arctic RAVN will focus its production ramp-up on flight controllers. Over the longer term, it plans to increase annual capacity to as many as two million circuit boards. A significant share of planned ESC output is already reserved by customers.
