The Women in Tech Accelerator is a specialized program providing business support for women-led or women-owned businesses that utilize technology. Initiated by Standard Chartered Bank Ghana in partnership with the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre, the project aims to foster greater diversity of thought and innovation within the technology sector. It seeks to create more opportunities for women who apply technology in their operations to achieve entrepreneurial excellence. While the initiative is currently active in Kenya, Nigeria, UAE, and Pakistan, this particular accelerator is focused on the Ghanaian ecosystem.

The program includes a combination of business advisory and financial interventions designed to support participants. These components are:
• High-Value Mini MBA Program: Delivered by the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre.
• Women Entrepreneurs’ Transformation Programme: A dedicated module for female founders.
• Financial Grant Opportunities: Participants have the chance to pitch for and secure financial grants to scale their businesses.
• Portfolio Manager Access: Direct access to portfolio managers for guidance and support.
