The Take Off Incubation Programs offer personalized, collaborative, and supportive guidance for emerging projects within the Cultural and Creative Industries. Designed for entrepreneurs with ideas in sectors such as video games, music tech, audiovisual, cinema, virtual or augmented reality, animation, communication, media, and UX design, the incubator provides a structured path from concept to business creation. Participants are immersed in a dynamic ecosystem, surrounded by industry professionals, experts, and peers who specialize in the creative sectors, providing an environment conducive to launching and developing innovative projects.


Eligibility and Ideal Candidates

Project Stage: Open to individuals or teams at the idea stage or in the early phases of structuring their project.
Sectors: Focused on innovative business ideas within the Cultural & Creative Industries.
Candidate Profile: Seeking committed, open-minded individuals ready to test their concepts. Support is available to those who have already created a company, are still employed, or are students.
Location: A strong physical presence in the Plaine Images creative district is highly recommended to fully benefit from the program and its ecosystem.

Program Structure and Phases

KICK OFF: A 2-day boot camp designed to introduce the cohort and prepare participants for the program.
PHASE 1: INSPIRATION (3 Months): A period of group support focused on transforming an idea into a viable business plan.
SELECTION COMMITTEE: A presentation of the Business Plan to a committee to gain approval for advancing to the next phase. This serves as a review of project progress and motivation.
PHASE 2: DESIGN (6 to 18 Months): An extended period of individual support dedicated to bringing the project to fruition and officially creating the business.

Phase 1 Workshop Details

The initial three-month group support phase is designed to help participants develop their ideas, overcome early obstacles, and establish a solid foundation for their projects. The curriculum includes the following workshops:
Workshop 1: Kick-off: Outlining expectations, involvement, and support.
Workshop 2: Market research.
Workshop 3: Entrepreneurial project management and tools.
Workshop 4: Rapid and cost-effective prototyping.

Specialized Program Tracks

In addition to a common core program for all entrepreneurs, the incubator offers three specialized tracks to provide tailored support for specific markets:
ICC: A foundational program for creating a business in the broader Cultural & Creative Industries, from audiovisual to design and marketing.
VIDEO GAME: A specialized track for projects involving the creation of a video game or a service aimed at the gaming industry, offered in partnership with Game In North.
MUSIC TECH: A dedicated track for innovative solutions that impact the creation, distribution, or consumption of music, offered in partnership with Music Story.

• Support: The program is free, supported by the Hauts-de-France region, and provides personalized, human-scale support with close monitoring from startup managers, quality speakers, and varied content.
• Relationship & Atmosphere: The incubator fosters a positive and supportive environment with an available team and informal peer exchange events like the monthly Take Off Happy Hours.
• Ecosystem: Participants gain access to a network of 700 companies in the Lille metropolitan area, including 150 at the Plaine Images site, plus links to research, universities, and specialized international schools.
• Location: The program is situated in a unique location conducive to creativity, collective intelligence, and networking, with amenities that facilitate daily life for entrepreneurs.
