• Proven Success: The incubation program focuses on making companies investor-ready, connecting them with advisors, corporate partners, and accelerating revenue growth.
• Tailored Support: An eight-month, intensive program provides targeted access to funding, mentorship, and a curated investor network.
• Day 1 Expert Mentorship: Companies receive hands-on support from a dedicated client success director to work on business milestones.
• Network of Excellence: Access a powerhouse network spanning 8 states, including 11 R1 Universities and 3 State Bioscience Associations.
• Accountable to Performance: Operating under a United States Economic Development Administration Build to Scale Grant, the program is accountable for company performance and aims for significant impact.

Program Structure

The program is divided into distinct phases to guide startups from concept to market readiness:
• Foundation Phase: Solidify the business framework with a robust curriculum designed to crystallize the commercialization path.
• Accelerate Phase: Gain momentum through industry-specific training and strategic milestone achievement.
• Momentum & Exposure Phase: Showcase the venture at a grand culmination event, opening doors to investors and industry partners.

Participant Support and Resources

Founders and companies receive comprehensive support throughout the program, including:
Strategic Guidance: Develop strategies for life sciences product commercialization, strengthen key business principles, build an investor pitch, define a development timeline, and refine the business model.
• Network Building: Assistance in building a deep network of life sciences leaders and connecting with corporate partners, investors, and advisors.
• Cohort Sessions: Access to life sciences-specialized content, one-on-one support, and a proven framework for building a successful enterprise.
• Pioneer Council: A novel mentorship concept that aligns a multi-disciplinary council of experts—including academics, investors, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders—with small groups of startups to provide real-world perspectives and resources.

Application and Fees

Key details for prospective applicants are as follows:
• Application Deadlines: Applications for the 2026 cohort must be submitted by March 27, 2026.
• No Equity Requirement: As a fee-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Innosphere does not take equity in participating companies.
• Fees: There is no fee to apply. If accepted into the 8-month program, the participation fee is $20,000. Companies affiliated with one of the nine program partner universities should contact their university’s Technology Transfer Office (TTO) for additional guidance.
