GirlCode is a women-focused AI Hackathon presented by ADA, designed to inspire and highlight the next generation of female innovators in data, AI, and technology. The program brings together female university students from India to compete in an entirely online format. • Applications Open: March 12 – April 03
• Participants Announcement: April 07
• Midway Check-in Call: April 10
• Submission Deadline: April 11 (11:59pm IST) for presentation deck and short video.
• Evaluation Round: April 12 – April 19
• Finalist Announcement: April 20
• Final Pitch & Winner Announcement: April 30, with finalists pitching live at the ADA India office. Travel and accommodation will be covered by ADA.
Eligibility and Team Formation
• Eligibility: The hackathon is open exclusively to female university students in India, regardless of their major or coding experience.
• Registration Fee: Participation is completely free.
• Hacking Period: The hacking duration is three full days.
• Registration Process: All participants must register individually through the official registration form.
• Team Size: Teams must consist of 2 to 3 members.
• Solo Participation: Solo participants are not being accepted for this year's event.
