Fledge Africa (2026) returns as a hybrid accelerator designed to support for-profit agrifood ventures that improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers across Africa. Operating both online and in person from Nairobi, the program aims to equip early-stage entrepreneurs with practical tools, mentorship, and access to a global investment network.


Program Overview

Fledge, known globally for its “conscious company accelerators,” runs its Africa edition to strengthen the agrifood ecosystem. This initiative offers hands-on support and blended learning experiences to help founders grow sustainable, impactful businesses in the food and agriculture sectors.

The accelerator seeks ventures that integrate technology and innovation into agricultural value chains—covering production, processing, and distribution—to improve food systems and economic outcomes.

This stage flexibility allows startups at various points in their growth journey to benefit from tailored mentorship and capital readiness training.

Program Structure

  • Format: Hybrid (Online + In-person bootcamp in Nairobi)
  • Curriculum: Includes business strategy refinement, financial modeling, market validation, and impact measurement.
  • Mentorship: Founders receive one-on-one guidance from seasoned entrepreneurs, investors, and sector specialists.
  • Investment Support: Participants gain exposure to Fledge’s investor network, with opportunities for follow-on funding.
