Deadline: April 7, 2026 (in 8 days)
Categories: Hackathon, Award/Prize
Global

Engineering for Change (E4C) is hosting a one-week virtual hackathon for engineers, developers, researchers, and innovators. The event is centered on the creation of responsible, domain-specific AI tools tailored for engineering and sustainable development. Participants will have the opportunity to design and prototype AI-assisted knowledge systems using E4C's curated datasets, transparent model workflows, and responsible AI guardrails. The program provides access to collaborative workspaces and connects participants with a global community dedicated to evidence-grounded, human-centered problem-solving.

Challenge Details

• Objective: Teams are invited to build functional prototypes that demonstrate how responsible, domain-specific AI tools can support engineering for sustainable development.
• Methodology: Participants will work with E4C’s curated datasets and AI pilot capabilities.
• Goal: The aim is to create knowledge systems that improve decision-grade outcomes in real-world contexts.

Participation and Format

• Format: The hackathon is a fully virtual event.
• Eligibility: Participation is open globally.
• Team Size: Teams may consist of 1 to 5 participants.
• Registration closes: 8 April 2026 (00:00 UTC)
