Applications are currently open for the tenth edition of BeChangeMaker 2026, a program designed to help young entrepreneurs accelerate their business ideas and transform their visions into real-world impact. An initiative by WorldSkills and the HP Foundation, supported by UNESCO-UNEVOC, BeChangeMaker has provided a platform for young people globally since 2017. It equips them with tools to channel their skills into business concepts that address social and environmental challenges, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Program Structure and Benefits
• Duration: The program runs from April to September.
• Selected Participants: 30 teams will be chosen to participate.
• Learning Resources: Participants gain access to world-class learning content through HP LIFE, tailored for entrepreneurs and innovators.
• Support System: The program provides dedicated coaching, mentoring, and connections to a global network of potential supporters and investors.
• Final Competition: The program culminates in a live pitch final at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 during the WorldSkills Conference 2026.
• Prizes: The top five teams, selected through a series of online pitches, will present their ideas to an international audience and compete for cash prizes.
Important Dates
• Application Deadline: Applications are open until 27 March.
• Team Announcement: The top 30 teams will be announced on 1 April.
• Program Kickoff: The program officially begins on 7 April.
• Final Events: Bootcamps and the final pitch will take place from 22–27 September during WorldSkills Shanghai 2026.
How to Apply
• Eligibility: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old and driven by a passion for social or environmental change.
• Team Requirements: Form a team of up to five people and select a team leader, or apply as an individual.
• Video Submission: Create a one-minute video introducing your team and project.
• Application Form: Complete the form on the BeChangeMaker 2026 website to submit your application.
• Submission Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 27 March 2026.
