Yunxi Technology, a Chinese enterprise artificial intelligence software provider, has submitted a confidential initial public offering application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, people familiar with the matter said. The Guangzhou-based company was valued at 10 billion yuan (US$1.27 billion) in its latest private funding round and is working with Bocom International on the planned listing. It aims to raise several hundred million US dollars, although the timing and final size remain subject to change.
Confidential Filing and Valuation
The application has been submitted under Chapter 18C of the Hong Kong stock exchange rules, a specialized framework designed for high-growth firms in advanced technology sectors. The listing is targeted to take place by the end of this year, according to people familiar with the matter who asked not to be named because of the sensitivity of the issue. The company has not yet commented publicly on the filing.
Investor Backing and Previous Funding
Yunxi Technology has previously completed a series D round of nearly US$100 million in October 2021, with investors including Tencent Investment, HSG, and Yunfeng Fund. High-profile backers include Jack Ma's Yunfeng Capital and investment firm HSG. This investor base has supported the company's expansion across multiple enterprise sectors and its preparation for a public listing.
Enterprise AI Product Capabilities
Founded in 2016, Yunxi provides end-to-end digital growth products and tools that help major clients integrate artificial intelligence into their operations. Its software covers member marketing, order transactions, supply chain fulfilment, and business-finance integration. The platform connects commercial workflows across customer engagement, fulfilment, and financial management to support enterprise growth.
Industry Applications
The company says its products are used in agriculture and livestock breeding, home appliances, tea chains, and a large provincial-level conglomerate. It also serves major clients in consumer goods, retail, real estate, and automotive sectors. These deployments demonstrate the breadth of its enterprise artificial intelligence offerings and the scalability of its digital growth platform.
Little Giant Recognition and Market Position
Yunxi is one of China's nationally recognized little giant enterprises, a label awarded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to specialized and innovative small- and medium-sized companies. By November 2025, China had nurtured more than 17,600 such firms, with official plans to expand that total to 22,000 by 2030. The designation highlights Yunxi's focus on niche markets, core technologies, and a strong market share.
Hong Kong's Advanced Technology Listing Push
Official data from Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing show that by the end of March, 14 companies had gone public under Chapter 18C, raising a combined HK$28.4 billion (US$3.62 billion). Additional applications are under review as Hong Kong seeks to attract more technology initial public offerings. Yunxi's confidential filing fits within this broader effort to position the city as a destination for advanced technology listings.
Yunxi Technology's confidential application adds another name to Hong Kong's growing pipeline of advanced technology listings under Chapter 18C. The company's combination of enterprise AI software, little giant recognition, and established investors positions it as a notable candidate in the current market. If the listing proceeds as targeted, it could reinforce the city's efforts to attract high-growth technology firms and deepen its specialist listing framework.
