Hyperbolic raised $30 million in Series A1 funding led by Walden Catalyst. The round included Dell Technologies Capital, General Catalyst, Vista Equity Partners, and Cambium Capital. Hyperbolic builds software that unifies access to AI computing resources across cloud providers.
Investors and funding history
Walden Catalyst was founded by Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan and former Samsung President Young Sohn. Total announced funding for Hyperbolic now reaches $50 million. The company previously raised a $7 million Seed round and a $12 million Series A.
Company scale
Over 250,000 AI builders use Hyperbolic's services. Customers include Modal, Higgsfield, Daytona, HeyGen, and Pika. Hyperbolic works with roughly 30 providers and says connected resources are worth about $200 million annually.
How the platform works
The platform, called Forge, standardizes heterogeneous bare-metal GPU clusters from different providers. Users get a shared dashboard for provisioning, networking, and operations. Hyperbolic plans to support spot instances, dynamic pricing, and resale of unused GPU capacity.
The new capital will expand Hyperbolic's multi-cloud orchestration and value-added services. The company is developing what it calls the first Global Compute Grid. It targets $150 million in annual recurring revenue by the end of 2026 and says it has reached break-even.
