Social Links, a Dutch-based developer of Open Source Intelligence software, has secured €2.6 million in follow-on funding to strengthen its AI-driven digital risk protection tools. The Amstelveen-headquartered company will use the capital to advance its flagship AI Defender Autopilot initiative, which is built to detect fraud, scam messages, and brand misinformation across emails, messaging platforms, and online channels. The round, led by Yellow Rocks! with continued backing from AltaIR Capital and Smart Partnership Capital, marks a key step in scaling Social Links’ defense solutions for organizations facing AI-enabled threats.

Strengthening Digital Safety with AI

The new funding is focused on accelerating the development of AI Defender Autopilot, Social Links’ core initiative for automated digital risk protection. The system combines the company’s decade of OSINT expertise with AI agents that can process large volumes of open data and surface actionable insights for security and risk teams. By enhancing these capabilities, Social Links aims to help customers move from manual investigations to more automated, continuous monitoring of AI-driven threats.

Addressing the Rise of Online Fraud

As criminals increasingly leverage AI to craft sophisticated scams and deepfake-driven fraud, traditional security tools are struggling to keep pace. Social Links tackles this gap by analyzing signals across social media, messaging apps, and other public data sources to uncover suspicious networks and behaviors. Its AI-powered workflows are designed to help investigators rapidly identify emerging fraud patterns that threaten both individuals and enterprises.

Tackling Brand Misinformation

A central use case for AI Defender Autopilot is the early detection of misleading or malicious content targeting brands and public figures. The platform monitors for coordinated misinformation, fake news, and manipulated narratives that can erode trust or trigger financial damage. By flagging these risks across communication channels and brand-related content, Social Links enables companies to respond faster and base their communications on precise attribution and evidence.

Strategic Expansion and Market Growth

Founded in 2015 by Andrey Kulikov and CEO Ivan Shkvarun, Social Links has grown into a global technology provider serving more than 450 customers in over 90 countries, including around 170 government entities and 280 businesses. The company reports an average annual growth rate of about 80 percent over the past six years, with its core markets in EMEA and the United States, alongside a growing presence in APAC and Latin America. The latest funding will support further regional expansion as well as new product launches built on the AI Defender Autopilot concept.

Investor Confidence in OSINT Technologies

The decision by Yellow Rocks! to significantly increase its exposure, alongside existing investors AltaIR Capital and Smart Partnership Capital, highlights rising conviction in OSINT as a pillar of modern cybersecurity. Investors see particular value in platforms that blend deep investigative experience with AI to bridge the gap between fragmented data and clear, operational decisions. Social Links’ track record in digital investigations and its shift toward AI-native defense tools position it as one of the more established players in this evolving category.

Future Outlook for Social Links

Looking ahead, Social Links plans to deepen the integration between its OSINT stack and AI agents so that organizations can rely on an “autopilot” layer for many aspects of digital risk monitoring. New features are expected to extend coverage across more channels and threat types, while keeping investigation workflows accessible to both specialist and non-specialist teams. With fresh capital secured and a clearly defined roadmap around AI Defender Autopilot, the company is aiming to set a high benchmark for AI-driven digital risk protection in the years ahead.

In summary, the €2.6 million follow-on investment gives Social Links additional firepower to expand its AI Defender Autopilot initiative and reinforce its role in combating AI-enabled fraud, scams, and brand misinformation. For customers, this translates into more advanced tools for detecting complex threats and protecting organizational reputation in an increasingly hostile and AI-influenced digital environment.
