Savannaa Cloud has opened early access to its Nigerian-owned public cloud platform. The company plans a commercial launch in December 2026. The platform offers about 200 cloud services with naira billing and local hosting through Equinix.
Platform availability
Early access is free, and users can register without entering payment-card details. Services are being introduced in stages and remain subject to usage conditions. The self-service console lets users register, choose services, and deploy applications without a sales-led process.
Programs for startups and institutions
The Savannaa Startup Accelerator will offer cloud credits and technical assistance to early-stage businesses in Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa. Eligible public-sector customers may access discounts of up to 25% through Savannaa Gov Cloud. Banks and established fintech companies could receive discounts of up to 20% and migration support reductions of up to 30%, subject to terms.
Data residency and security
Customer data is hosted in Nigeria through a data center partnership with Equinix. The company says its security architecture incorporates controls aligned with SOC 2 and ISO frameworks. It adds that the platform is designed to support customers' obligations under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
The commercial launch is planned for December 2026. Details on startup eligibility and credit allocations are expected closer to that date. Interested users can find more information on Savannaa Cloud's website.
