Egyptian digital payments platform Sahl has partnered with fintech company Klivvr to simplify installment repayments and broaden access to digital financial services. Klivvr customers can now settle installments directly through the Sahl mobile application, providing an additional payment channel available at any time. The collaboration reflects the growing integration of payments, consumer finance, and mobile tools within Egypt’s developing fintech market.
Expanding Digital Installment Access
The integration allows Klivvr users to make installment payments through Sahl’s infrastructure without relying on physical branches or traditional collection methods. Customers can complete transactions securely from any location, helping them manage recurring financial commitments through a more convenient process. By adding installment repayment to an established bill payment application, the companies aim to reduce friction and improve the customer experience.
Supporting a Connected Financial Ecosystem
The partnership combines Klivvr’s consumer financing capabilities with Sahl’s payment and collection network, creating a more direct connection between borrowing and repayment. It expands the payment choices available to Klivvr customers while supporting wider adoption of digital transactions across Egypt. Both companies presented the agreement as part of broader efforts to advance financial inclusion and encourage a less cash-dependent economy.
Sahl’s Digital Payments Footprint
Founded in December 2019, Sahl has developed a mobile platform offering more than 200 payment services through one application. Users can pay electricity, natural gas, water, telecommunications, internet, and other everyday bills, making the platform a central tool for household payments. Its expanding portfolio has helped establish the company as a notable participant in Egypt’s digital payments sector.
Sahl has also deployed Near Field Communication technology that allows customers to recharge prepaid utility meters and smart cards from home in under one minute. The company has expanded into business-to-business payment acceptance and collection solutions designed to help businesses improve their payment operations. These capabilities give Sahl a wider role in serving consumers, merchants, and enterprise clients.
Klivvr’s Expanding Financial Platform
Founded in Egypt in 2021, Klivvr operates an integrated financial services ecosystem covering digital payments, lending, budgeting, and money management. Through its smart payment card and mobile application, users can monitor spending, manage budgets, and access a growing range of financial products. The company received approval from the Central Bank of Egypt in 2023, supporting its expansion within the regulated fintech market.
Klivvr broadened its consumer finance offering in 2025 by launching a Buy Now, Pay Later service providing financing of up to EGP 500,000 over periods of up to 60 months. It also introduced one-time financing of up to EGP 15 million for higher-value purchases through more than 1,000 merchants and business partners. These products have strengthened Klivvr’s consumer lending operations while extending its reach across multiple purchasing categories.
Technology and Customer Growth
In 2026, Klivvr launched K.ai, described as Egypt’s first artificial intelligence-powered financial assistant, to provide personalized spending insights and financial guidance. The company also introduced K.Points, an integrated rewards program, and K.Shop, an in-app marketplace intended to create a broader digital finance experience. Klivvr said its expanding platform has helped increase its customer base to more than 700,000 users.
The Sahl and Klivvr partnership connects digital lending and payment services by giving customers a simpler way to manage installment repayments. For Sahl, the agreement expands the use of its payment infrastructure, while Klivvr gains another accessible channel for its financing customers. The collaboration also shows how Egyptian fintech companies are building interoperable services that can support wider financial participation and accelerate the shift toward digital payments.
