CrissCross has received investment from Circle Ventures. The funding came through its parent company Stitch Group. The company builds cross-border payments infrastructure for African markets.

Investor support

Circle Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Circle Internet Group. The investment was made through Stitch Group, CrissCross's parent company. CrissCross general manager James Cope said the backing supports its infrastructure work.

Market presence

CrissCross operates in more than 30 African markets. It supports over 20 currencies. The platform reports 99.99% uptime and serves multinational enterprises, financial institutions, and platforms.

What the platform does

The company offers local collections, automated payouts, corporate treasury management, and real-time FX through a single API. Its infrastructure connects blockchain settlement with fiat delivery. Funds can reach local bank accounts and mobile wallets.

CrissCross plans to keep making payments across Africa faster, simpler, and more reliable. It also plans to support stablecoin rails in markets with thin liquidity corridors. The company will keep building infrastructure for business clients.
