Berlin based Peec AI has secured a $21 million Series A round to accelerate its push into the fast emerging AI search marketing category. The round, led by European VC firm Singular, positions the company as one of the best funded startups focused on analytics for AI driven search. Peec AI plans to use the capital to scale its platform, expand geographically, and deepen its product offering for marketing teams worldwide.
The rise of AI search in marketing
AI powered search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini are rapidly becoming a new discovery layer for both consumers and B2B buyers. As these interfaces gain adoption, many marketing teams struggle to understand how their brands appear in AI generated answers or which sources shape those outputs. Peec AI is building tooling to close this visibility gap and help companies influence how they are represented across AI search environments.
Product and technology
Peec AI provides marketers with a platform that shows exactly how their brand appears in AI search responses, which citations drive those results, and which actions can improve visibility, sentiment, and reach. The product is built on a proprietary data pipeline that maps source influence, visibility, and sentiment across major AI engines in real time. This infrastructure is designed to make a complex data problem feel simple at the surface level, combining analytical depth with a user interface intended for everyday marketing workflows.
Design and usability focus
One of the core challenges in this emerging category is keeping sophisticated analytics accessible for non technical users. Peec AI’s product emphasizes “depth with design,” aiming to help users move from insight to action without getting lost in dashboards. According to customers, the platform focuses on the most important steps in the workflow, avoiding the feature bloat and information overload often seen in traditional SEO or AI experience optimization tools.
Company origins and founding team
Peec AI was founded by Daniel Drabo, Tobias Siwonia, and Marius Meiners, who met in Antler’s Berlin Winter 2024 cohort. The trio came together around a shared interest in the future of search, product discovery, and how AI alters the path from information to purchase. Since then, they have focused on building a product that prioritizes data quality, design precision, and clarity for marketing teams operating in an AI driven landscape.
Traction and customer base
Since launching in February 2025, Peec AI has onboarded more than 1,300 brands and agencies, adding over 300 customers per month across different industries and markets. The company reports having crossed $4 million in annual recurring revenue in just ten months, supported by a customer base that now exceeds 1,400 accounts. Clients include n8n, Attio, ElevenLabs, Chanel, TUI, Axel Springer, Peak Ace, and DEPT, reflecting a mix of high growth startups and established enterprises.
Funding details and expansion plans
The $21 million Series A is led by Singular, with participation from Antler, Combination VC, identity.vc, and S20, and follows a Seed round led by 20VC in July 2025, bringing total funding to $29 million. Peec AI currently employs around 20 people and plans to hire more than 40 additional team members over the next six months as it scales product and go to market teams. The company is also preparing to open a New York office in the second quarter, signaling a push into the North American market and a broader global footprint.
Investor perspective and category outlook
Investors see AI search as a rapidly evolving category where technical requirements shift as the underlying models and platforms change. Singular partner Henri Tilloy described Peec AI as combining depth, design, technical execution, and product velocity in a way that is unusual at this stage, arguing that the company is building “real technology” with the potential to define a new market segment. As AI search rewrites discovery, backers believe the need for reliable analytics and brand visibility tools will expand in parallel.
Peec AI’s Series A round underscores how quickly AI search is moving from experimental interface to a core marketing channel. With fresh capital, a growing team, and an expanding customer base, the company aims to establish itself as a central analytics and software layer for brands competing in AI driven search environments. The next phase will test whether Peec AI can maintain its pace of product innovation while scaling globally in a category that is still being defined.
