PayConductor, an AI-native payment orchestration platform, has officially announced the launch of its Payment AI Lab, a pioneering initiative within Latin America. This new facility is the first in the region exclusively dedicated to training proprietary Artificial Intelligence models for advanced payment optimization. The lab's mission is to fundamentally reshape transaction processing by leveraging machine learning to maximize approval rates and minimize operational costs for merchants.

Pioneering AI in Latin American Payments

The Payment AI Lab trains its unique models on a massive and proprietary dataset comprising billions of real, anonymized transactions accumulated over years of production operations. This extensive data allows the AI to identify intricate patterns in transaction approvals and refusals based on numerous variables, including card brand, issuing bank, and value range. By doing so, the system generates dynamic routing rules that significantly outperform the static, manual configurations common in the industry.

The PRYSM Model for Intelligent Routing

The lab's first proprietary model, named PRYSM, is engineered to analyze each transaction individually to determine the most efficient processing route in mere microseconds. Its name draws an analogy to an optical prism, as the model deconstructs each transaction into its fundamental variables to reconstruct the optimal path for success. "The payments market in Brazil still operates with static rules," said Dayslan, CEO and co-founder of PayConductor, "Our models analyze each transaction and decide the best path based on data, not intuition."

A Suite of Specialized AI Agents

The Payment AI Lab is developing a comprehensive suite of five specialized AI agents, each designed to address a critical aspect of the payment lifecycle. The Smart Router intelligently decides which Payment Service Provider (PSP) has the highest probability of approving a transaction, while the Fraud Shield focuses on identifying sophisticated fraud patterns. The suite also includes the Cost Optimizer for balancing approval and cost, and the Reconciler, which automates the complex task of reconciliation across multiple providers.

The Revolutionary Payments Concierge

A key innovation is the Payments Concierge, a conversational AI agent that empowers merchants to interact with their payment data using simple text or audio commands. This tool allows users to request deep performance analyses, generate executive reports on demand, and receive proactive alerts about approval rate drops. "The Payments Concierge is like having a senior payments analyst available 24 hours a day," Dayslan explained, emphasizing its ability to deliver data-driven insights instantly.

Company Growth and Strategic Context

While global giants invest in proprietary AI, PayConductor's lab is uniquely focused on the Latin American market with models trained on Brazilian ecosystem data. Founded in December 2025, the company has secured R$ 1 million in angel investment and is experiencing rapid growth, with a 40% month-over-month increase in recurring revenue and zero customer churn. The venture is supported by notable industry advisors from firms like Pagar.me/Stone and GetNet.

Moving forward, the Payment AI Lab plans to regularly publish valuable insights and industry benchmarks derived from its real-world transaction data. PayConductor also aims to forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and other payment ecosystem companies to continuously enhance its training dataset and capabilities. This initiative firmly positions the company to lead a data-driven transformation in the region's payment landscape, offering merchants unprecedented intelligence and efficiency.
