Omen AI has acquired Aquatic Labs for US$16 million in cash and stock. The startup makes sensors that continuously test cooling fluids inside AI data centers. Aquatic Labs founder Allan Adams will join Omen AI as chief science officer.

What the deal includes

The deal adds Aquatic Labs' team, intellectual property, and sensor research. Its technology measures total alkalinity in real time without adding chemicals. Those readings help operators assess mineral buildup and corrosion risk.

Backing and footprint

Omen AI was founded in 2024 and is based in San Francisco. It has raised US$46 million in total funding. The company is working in data centers with more than 10 GW of combined capacity.

How the sensors work

Omen AI's sensors attach directly to fluid systems and analyze metal content, biological contaminants, signs of wear, and fluid degradation. This helps operators spot changes that periodic testing can miss. The added Aquatic Labs sensing is expected to support automated coolant treatment.

Omen AI expects to begin shipping products with the additional monitoring capabilities by year-end. The company plans to connect fluid analysis to equipment that can adjust coolant chemistry within approved limits. Continued monitoring would verify the results and reduce manual testing.
