Clark, a New York company that builds AI for audit and assurance, launched autonomous AI employees called Clerks and raised a US$11 million Seed round. Touring Capital led the round. The company serves CPA firms that verify financial claims.

Funding history

The new round brings Clark's total funding to US$16 million. Marathon Management Partners led a US$5 million round in September 2025. Returning investors Marathon, Rerail, and Sofeon Ventures also participated.

CPA firm customers

Clark works with more than 35 CPA firms across the United States. Customers include CliftonLarsonAllen, Aprio, Kreischer Miler, and Sensiba. The company was formerly known as uiAgent and is headquartered in New York.

What Clerks do

Each Clerk handles audit areas from start to finish. It reviews documents, performs tests, and prepares workpapers. When something is missing, the Clerk requests it and resumes work once it arrives.

Clark will use the funding to expand its product, engineering, and sales teams. It plans to bring Clerks to more firms and engagement types. The company is working toward fully autonomous audit employees and continuous monitoring.
