MoSense raised around CN¥100 million in an Angel-Plus round. CDH Investments and Oasis Capital led the round. The Shanghai-based company develops full-body tactile sensing systems for robots.

Other investors and past funding

LimX Dynamics, Loongson Venture Capital, CAS Star, Hua Capital, and Pudong Venture Capital Group also joined the round. Houlang Capital acted as the long-term exclusive financial advisor. The company previously raised an Angel round backed by Sequoia China, GL Ventures, and robot maker Agibot.

Company origins

MoSense was founded in May 2026 by a team with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology backgrounds. CEO Yan Zhaoxu and CTO Zhou Hang both hold doctoral degrees from HKUST. The company targets full-body tactile solutions for humanoid robots.

What the technology does

MoSkin hardware embeds sensing directly into robot structural parts. MoTact software converts magnetic signals into force, displacement, slip, and material information. MoWorld is a planned model that uses tactile feedback to improve robot motion control.

The company is working with several leading robot makers on deployment. It has also begun model integration work with robot ODM and OEM partners. It plans to expand commercialization beyond humanoid robots into other industries.
