Brazilian edtech Leme raised R$1.2 million in a Pre-Seed round with Potencia Ventures. The startup helps municipal education departments find and reduce learning gaps. It currently serves about 20 municipalities.

Investor rationale

Potencia Ventures cited the company's blend of social impact and financial sustainability. The investor also pointed to the founders' ability to test sales strategies and win clients. The founders demonstrated these skills during the Potencia UP program.

Company traction

Leme was founded by Isaac Barbieri, Fernando Pinheiro, and Thomaz Albuquerque. Its revenue grew 360% from 2024 to 2025. The startup projects 600% growth from 2025 to 2026.

How the platform works

Leme crosses student social data with learning information. School systems use those insights to support vulnerable groups such as Black, brown, and Indigenous students. The platform also helps municipalities pursue federal VAAR funding.

Leme plans to reach 100 municipalities by the end of 2027. The company will invest in sales, technology, and pedagogy to support that expansion. It also aims to maintain service quality as it scales.
