Noetix Robotics, a Beijing-based Chinese humanoid robot maker backed by CATL, has confidentially filed for a Hong Kong IPO. The offering could raise several hundred million dollars.
Funding so far
Noetix completed a Series B round in March. It raised about RMB 1 billion. The round was led by Chendao Capital, an investment platform affiliated with the battery maker.
Company roots
The company was founded in September 2023 and focuses on humanoid robotics and embodied AI technology. It is officially named Songyan Power Beijing Technology. Its founding team comes from Tsinghua University and Zhejiang University.
Robot lineup
Noetix develops humanoid robots for consumer, educational, and commercial applications. Its core products include Bumi, N-series, and E-series bipedal robots. Bumi has a starting price of RMB 9,998.
The listing could give Noetix another source of capital. The company may list as early as 2027. Its work also appeared in this year's CCTV Spring Festival Gala.
