Bedrock Robotics raised $600 million in a Series C round at a $4.1 billion post-money valuation. CapitalG and Emergence Capital co-led the financing. The San Francisco company builds autonomous systems for heavy construction equipment.
Funding details
The round brings Bedrock's total funding to nearly $1 billion. New investors included US Innovative Technology Fund, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Temasek. Existing backers such as NVIDIA also participated.
Customer growth
Bedrock has more than doubled its total customer volume since 2025. Haydon, a large employee-owned contractor, plans to use Bedrock-equipped machines on a Texas site. The company also added contracts in Minnesota, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, Missouri, Georgia, and Arkansas.
Product and team
Bedrock retrofits existing heavy machines, starting with excavators. Its technology lets equipment operate autonomously on live commercial job sites. The company recently hired Amy Jones Satrom as vice president of operations and Lando Juarez as general counsel.
Bedrock plans to expand deployments with more contractors across U.S. states. It is building field, commercial, and operational teams to support the work. The company also aims to test trench work and automation of larger machine models with Haydon.
