inDrive, a global mobility and delivery platform and the world’s second most downloaded ride-hailing app, announced on 10 September 2026 that it has strengthened the leadership team behind its expanding ecosystem of consumer services. The company revealed new appointments and internal promotions across food and groceries, advertising, delivery, and financial services. These moves support inDrive’s strategy to diversify beyond ride-hailing and serve daily needs across 48 markets.

New Leadership for Key Growth Verticals

Raphael Zennou has been named Vice President of Food and Groceries after helping lead quick commerce operations at Delivery Hero for 21 million monthly customers across Asia, Europe, and Turkey. Max Silin joins as Director of inDrive.Ads with more than 11 years at Google in digital media, monetization, and programmatic advertising. Valentin Laykov has been promoted to Senior Head of Delivery, giving him global responsibility over courier and freight services.

Food, Groceries, and Advertising Expansion

Zennou will lead the expansion of inDrive.Groceries into new markets while overseeing delivery partnerships and broadening access to affordable everyday goods. Silin will continue building inDrive.Ads to connect global and local advertisers with the platform’s engaged community of drivers and riders across more than 1,200 cities. Both leaders bring operating experience intended to scale these verticals thoughtfully and adapt them to local demand.

Delivery and Financial Services Momentum

Valentin Laykov previously held leadership roles across delivery business development in EMEA, Latin America, and APAC before assuming global responsibility for courier delivery and freight. Alexander Kurchin will continue to lead inDrive.Money, the financial services offering that helps gig economy workers access credit on fair terms. Kurchin developed fintech solutions in e-commerce before joining inDrive and was part of the team that launched inDrive.Money.

A Modular Platform Shaped by Local Needs

inDrive’s application is modular by design, allowing service offerings in each market to reflect local consumer needs. In 2025, 13 percent of monthly transacting users used both mobility and delivery services, indicating that the diversification strategy is gaining traction. The company reports that inDrive.Ads provides an additional revenue stream that supports its ability to keep driver commissions and rider fares among the lowest in the industry.

Executive Perspective on Ecosystem Growth

Andries Smit, Chief Growth Businesses Officer at inDrive, said the company’s ambition is to make the platform more useful in everyday life while staying true to its mission of challenging injustice through fair choices. He noted that groceries, deliveries, financial services, and advertising each build on capabilities developed through the core ride-hailing business. Smit expressed confidence that the leadership team will help create real value for users, drivers, and partners.

Existing Services Positioned for Continued Growth

inDrive.Groceries currently operates in Kazakhstan and Pakistan, giving customers convenient access to affordable everyday goods delivered to their doors. The deliveries vertical offers courier and freight services to businesses and individuals across the company’s markets. Meanwhile, inDriveMoney enables drivers in Latin America and Indonesia to access short-term loans for unexpected expenses and begin building credit histories.

These leadership appointments highlight the depth of inDrive’s talent bench and its commitment to offering fairer access to a broader range of essential daily services. By placing experienced executives at the helm of high-growth verticals, the company is positioning its ecosystem for careful expansion across 48 markets. The strategy aims to deepen user engagement and deliver long-term value for consumers, drivers, and partners while maintaining the fairness principles that define the platform.
