Global mobility platform inDrive has announced the appointment of seasoned financial executive Elaine Paul to its Board of Directors. Paul, who previously served as CFO for Lyft, Amazon Studios, and Hulu, will join as an independent director. Her extensive experience is set to bolster inDrive's financial strategy and corporate governance as it continues its global expansion.

A Strategic Addition to the Board

In her new role, Paul will advise the board on critical areas including financial strategy, capital allocation, and corporate governance. She will provide an independent perspective, drawing on her expertise in scaling platform businesses and navigating complex market dynamics. This appointment is designed to guide inDrive as it grows its core mobility business and diversifies its services.

Paul's most recent tenure as Chief Financial Officer at Lyft saw her guide the company through a significant business transformation. She oversaw all finance functions, helping the company achieve record revenues and notable operational efficiencies. This direct experience in the mobility sector makes her a valuable asset for inDrive's leadership.

A Veteran of Tech and Media Giants

Prior to her role at Lyft, Paul served as the CFO of Amazon Studios, where she managed financial strategy for multi-billion dollar content investments. Before that, she spent six years as the CFO of Hulu, playing a pivotal role in significantly scaling the company’s revenue. Her background shows a consistent ability to manage finances for high-growth technology and media firms.

Her career foundation was built over two decades at The Walt Disney Company, contributing to major strategic initiatives. This included partnering on Disney's international reorganization and leading its original investment in Hulu. Paul also serves on the boards of Sabre Corporation and Marqeta, highlighting her respected industry standing.

Leadership Perspectives on the Appointment

Arsen Tomsky, founder and CEO of inDrive, praised Paul's understanding of what is required to scale a mobility business sustainably. He stated that her presence will strengthen the company's governance and financial maturity as it expands. Tomsky expressed his delight in welcoming her to the board to help guide inDrive's global mission.

Elaine Paul stated that she resonates with inDrive's mission, where fairness is integral to its business operations. She noted the company's clear ambition and strong fundamentals as key reasons for joining the board. Paul looks forward to contributing to the next phase of the company's journey and enhancing its governance.

Strengthening Corporate Governance

Paul joins a distinguished board that includes four other non-employee directors from firms like BOND Capital and Insight Partners. She is the second independent director, following the appointment of Jeri Doris in 2025. Her addition reflects a continued commitment by inDrive to establish governance structures that align with its global scale.

inDrive has established itself as a significant force in the global mobility and delivery sector, with its app downloaded over 400 million times. The company operates in more than 1200 cities across 48 countries, driven by a mission to challenge injustice. This is achieved through its fair pricing model and various social impact programs.
