Humble Robotics raised US$51 million in Series A funding. Obvious Ventures led the round with participation from Eclipse, Energy Impact Partners, and others. The company makes autonomous, electric freight haulers for dock-to-dock regional transport.
Funding so far
The Series A brings Humble's total funding to US$75 million. The company was founded less than a year ago. It emerged from stealth six months ago with the Humble Hauler.
Regional market
Humble focuses on regional freight routes under 250 miles. These routes make up 87% of U.S. truck tonnage. The company describes this segment as a multibillion-dollar opportunity.
Vehicle platform
Humble builds Class 8 electric vehicles from the ground up. The platform supports dock-to-dock movement between ports, rail terminals, warehouses, and distribution centers. The company plans to expand its modular platform into a broader family of regional freight vehicles.
The new funding will support customer pilots, testing, validation, and early manufacturing. Humble is preparing for commercial deployment with customers, partners, and regulators. It also plans plug-and-play integration into existing freight operations.
