Brazilian foreign trade data startup Heyship has confirmed its participation in two major global trade events during the second half of 2026. The company will serve as an official partner at the 13th Gotex Show in São Paulo from September 23 to 25 and will then attend the 140th Canton Fair in Guangzhou, China, between October 15 and November 4. The move is part of a broader effort to connect Brazilian trade intelligence tools with international manufacturers and buyers.

Dual presence across key commercial markets

The startup, which is part of the Leonora Ventures portfolio, specializes in data intelligence for foreign trade. Its participation covers all three phases of the Canton Fair, one of the largest multi-sector trade events in the world. This dual presence is designed to strengthen commercial ties, showcase Brazilian innovation, and promote the country's technology abroad.

Textile sector report at Gotex Show

At the Gotex Show, Heyship is presenting a study on the Brazilian textile market based on data from 205 exhibitors and the ComexStat system. The report is available in Portuguese, English, and Mandarin and examines the 16 NCM codes with the highest trade volume in the sector. These categories recorded imports worth US$1.276 billion over the past twelve months, including metrics on average prices, origin countries, tariffs, market concentration, and trade defense measures.

Mandarin platform and new service at Canton Fair

At the Canton Fair, the startup will demonstrate its digital platform adapted to a Mandarin interface. The tool allows Chinese suppliers to enter product descriptions in their own language and immediately consult Brazilian fiscal classification, applicable duties, administrative requirements, and market size for each item. The event will also mark the launch of a new service focused on supplier management, quotation organization, and cost estimation for international operations.

Investor highlights global relevance

Ana Paula Debiazi, CEO of Leonora Ventures, said that seeing a portfolio company participate in events like Gotex Show and Canton Fair reinforces the capacity of Brazilian startups to develop globally applicable technologies. She noted that the presence expands Heyship's commercial opportunities and brings its solution closer to strategic markets. The investor also stated that the company's purpose is to support innovative businesses with scale and internationalization potential.

Addressing bilateral trade complexity

Trade between Brazil and China has reached record volumes, but importers still face complex tax rules, customs bureaucracy, and information gaps between buyers and foreign suppliers. In the textile and apparel segment, incorrect NCM classification and limited awareness of trade defense measures often cause customs delays, fines, and extra logistics costs. Heyship's multilingual tools seek to address these problems by translating Brazilian fiscal and regulatory requirements directly for international manufacturers.

Reducing trade uncertainty with data

The agenda in both events reflects the startup's strategy of connecting its analytical tools to manufacturing hubs and global supplier networks. Heyship focuses on tariff classification and statistical import analysis to help companies reduce uncertainty in transactions between Brazil and Asian markets. The company expects the use of data to improve decision-making and lower risks in cross-border trade.

By appearing at both the São Paulo and Guangzhou events, Heyship underscores the growing role of Brazilian trade technology startups in international commerce. Its Portuguese, English, and Mandarin resources address practical barriers such as language, tariff complexity, and fragmented supplier information. The planned global launch of its quotation management service suggests a continued push toward making foreign trade intelligence more accessible, transparent, and efficient for companies on both sides of the Atlantic and Pacific.
